1. Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel a paid subscription at any time:
- Open Billing from your account menu.
- Choose Manage plan. This takes you to [Payment provider]’s customer portal.
- Cancel the subscription there.
Once [Payment provider] confirms the cancellation to us, the Billing page shows the date your paid access ends. Cancelling stops future renewals; it doesn’t by itself refund the current period (see Refunds).
You also update your card, see invoices and switch plans in the same portal.
2. What happens after you cancel
- You keep your paid plan until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Then your account moves to the Free plan.
- Nothing is deleted. Your strategies, runs and scorecards stay in your account.
- Features your new plan doesn’t include stop working. For example, the Free plan runs six of the eight checks and has no trade chart, prop-challenge simulator or AI chat. Custom indicators are kept, but they can’t run below the Research plan, so runs that use them fail.
- Forward-test registrations keep running at the plan they were registered under.
To switch between paid plans, use the same portal. The change applies once [Payment provider] confirms it to us. Any charge or credit for switching part-way through a period is worked out by [Payment provider], under its settings; Kurzharr doesn’t calculate one.
3. If a payment fails
If a renewal payment fails, you keep your plan while [Payment provider] tries the payment again, and the Billing page asks you to update your card. If [Payment provider] gives up and ends the subscription, your account moves to the Free plan. If your subscription is paused, your account has Free-plan access until it resumes.
4. Deleting your account while a plan is active
If you delete your account while a paid plan is live, we cancel its renewal with [Payment provider] first. Your account is then deleted straight away, so you lose any paid time that’s left. If we can’t cancel the plan, the deletion stops and you’re asked to cancel from the billing portal first.
To use the time you’ve paid for, cancel first, and delete your account after your paid access ends.
5. Refunds
Our refund policy: [Refund policy].
Whatever the policy, you keep your legal rights, including a remedy if the service isn’t provided as described.
If [Payment provider] is the seller (the merchant of record), refunds are issued through it, and its own terms of sale also apply.
6. Your 14-day right of withdrawal
If you’re a consumer in the EU, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a contract made online, without giving a reason. For a subscription or a one-off purchase, the 14 days start on the day you buy.
Kurzharr is a digital service, and you’ll usually want to use it straight away. So:
- If you ask us to start straight away and then withdraw within the 14 days, we refund what you paid, minus a proportionate amount for the service we provided up to the moment you told us.
- If a purchase is fully provided within the 14 days — for example, an Audit pass once its audit has been delivered — you lose the right to withdraw once it’s fully provided, as long as you asked us to start straight away and confirmed you understood you’d lose the right.
To withdraw, tell us clearly within the 14 days — email [Contact email]. You can use the model form below, but you don’t have to. We’ll refund you within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, using the payment method you paid with.
To [Company legal name], [Registered address], [Contact email]:
I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the provision of the following service: …
Ordered on: …
Name: …
Address: …
Signature (only if you send this form on paper): …
Date: …
7. The Audit pass
The Audit pass is a one-off purchase that covers one strategy. It doesn’t renew, so there’s nothing to cancel. What it includes, how long it stays valid, and when it can be refunded: [Audit pass terms].
8. Free trials
If a paid plan comes with a free trial, checkout shows how long it lasts. During the trial you have the full paid plan, and the Billing page shows when the trial ends. When it ends, the subscription starts and you’re charged, unless you cancel before then.
9. How to ask for a refund
Email [Contact email] from the email address on your account. Tell us which plan you bought, when, and why you’re asking. If [Payment provider] is the seller, you can also contact it directly. We’ll confirm we’ve received your request and tell you the outcome.
10. Chargebacks
If something’s wrong with a payment, please contact us before you dispute it with your bank or card issuer — it’s usually quicker. If you do open a dispute, we may pause paid features on your account while it’s open. This doesn’t affect your right to use your bank’s dispute process.
